Delhi Rain: IMD predicts thunderstorm, heavy rainfall in NCR in next 2 hrs

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday said thunderstorm with moderate to heavy intensity rain over Delhi, NCR ( Bahadurgarh, Gurugram, Manesar, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri) in the next two hours.

Taking to its Twitter handle the National weather forecasting Agency noted: "Thunderstorm with moderate to heavy intensity rain would occur over most places of Delhi, Greater Noida, Noida, Ghaziabad, Khekra, Daurala, Barut, Meerut, Modinagar, Hapur, Khurza, Kasganj, Jattari, Narora, Raya, Nandgaon, Barsana (UP) Bhiwani, Gurugram, Manesar, Kosli, Gannaur, Gohana, Sonipat, Kaithal, Faridabad, Sohana, Bhiwari, Tizara (Haryana) Nadbai, Nagar, Deeg, Laxmangarh (Raj.) and adjoining areas during next 2 hours," tweeted IMD around 11.25 am.

Earlier in the day, the metrological department had forecasted light to moderate rain in isolated areas of the Delhi-National capital region.
