At the same time, door-to-door Covid vaccination program has also been started in the state from April this year, as per reports. The health workers are going door-to-door to people and administering the vaccine. The state health secretary said that 51 percent of the people above 18 years have been given the first dose of corona vaccine. At the same time, 16 percent of the state's population has been fully vaccinated.
On the vaccination status of the 18-plus population, he said: "Our 18 plus population as per Government of India data is around 5 crore 14 lakh. 51 percent of this population has got the first dose, 16 percent has got both doses, which is more than 80 lakh people."
