New Delhi: The government is constantly taking steps to ensure water supply in all parts of Delhi. Now, under the recent information, work is on to replace old pipelines in all the areas as well as to lay new lines and the work is being done expeditiously. In addition, infrastructure is also being developed for proper flow of sewage. According to the information received, Delhi Jal Board Chairman Satyendra Jain held a meeting with officials on the entire issue last Saturday. During the meeting, he directed everyone to ensure water supply. In fact, it is the plan of the Delhi Government to strengthen the infrastructure in the next few years and make Delhi self-reliant about drinking water. In the first phase, delhi is considering to reduce water dependence on Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. During the meeting held on Saturday, Satyendra Jain mainly discussed plans to accelerate water growth. During the meeting, he said that emphasis should be given to creating water supply and sewerage infrastructure and operational management. He also said that "To further increase water, water and water distribution infrastructure needs to be utilized efficiently".
