Kuldeep Srivastava of IMD Delhi told the media that in Delhi today the temperature was recorded at 7.5 degrees Celsius. This is the lowest temperature for this cold season starting in the month of October. He told that the reason for this is snowfall in the plains and hilly areas. Srivastava informed that the drop in temperature will continue for the next two days. The lowest temperature in November was recorded at 3.9 ° C on 28 November 1938. Whereas, last year this figure was 11.5 degree Celsius. The temperature was recorded at 10.5 in 2018 and 7.6 ° C in 2017. Statistics from the Regional Meteorological Center of Delhi show that the data is being recorded below 10 ° C in many northwest cities of the country.
