'Demo piece is the perfect start' says Bharath Bopanna

Bharata Bopanna is coming with his film Demo Peace, which is set to release soon. Excited about his date with the audience, Bharat talks to us about how coming to Bengaluru is more than a career in software development and more 'I'm in showbiz because of my MNC colleagues' I'm about to pursue a career in the software industry Actually came to Bangalore, while also dubbing modeling as a hobby. My coworkers often wondered what I was doing in an MNC and I liked to try my hand at showbiz, because they believed that I was on screen.

Pleased with this encouragement, I set out for my first audition for a Kannada serial, and picked things up from there. I got a demo piece because director Vivek A liked my work in Brahmaguntu. While I had received film offers in Kannada and other languages earlier, I was waiting for the perfect launch for my debut and the demo piece was fitting the bill. It has all the elements of a good entertainer, therefore, I had no second thoughts before signing on the dotted line. Playing Harsha in Demo Peace The Demo Peace follows the exodus of college student Harsha, who wants to lead a luxurious lifestyle and woo the prettiest girls on campus. But his reality is contrary to his ambitions. The story focuses on his personal journey with his peers and his parents. Harsh is a very believable character, which literally took me back to my college days.

She is naughty, which is quite the opposite of how I am in real life. I am very calm and laid back (chakkalas). Balancing TV and Film Work While working on the demo piece, I was also juggling two serials simultaneously - one in Kannada and the other in Telugu, called Jothi. My schedule was jam-packed. I would often finish shooting in Hyderabad, land in Bangalore, visit the Brahmaguntu set, and then in the demo piece. Although I played different characters in each project, I easily moved in and out of each of them due to the atmosphere created on the set. And I am indebted to the teams of each to make sure there was no overlap and I was allowed to balance multiple projects.
