Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis claimed NDA's victory, saying the NDA led by Nitish Kumar, Sushil Modi will re-form the government there. Devendra Fadnavis has said, "For the first time in the world, a major exercise of this kind is being conducted during the corona pandemic. The people of Bihar trust PM Modi. CM Nitish Kumar, Sushil Modi's government has worked for the people. He will be re-elected". Devendra Fadnavis has been made in-charge by the BJP in Bihar elections.

Before Fadnavis, JDU leader Casey Tyagi had also expressed confidence in Nitish Kumar's victory in the Bihar elections. He said that the election is going to amidst the 15 years of misrule and 15 years of good governance, which will be won by Nitish Kumar.
