Director Ramkumar opens up about paedophile character Inbaraj in Ratsasan

A few celebrities from the Tamil film fraternity had voiced their opinions on the issue surrounding a techer of a popular school in the city, after many students of the school levelled complaints of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour against the teacher. After this new revelation, many drew comparisons to the teacher character in the super hit Vishnu Vishal-starrer 'Ratsasan' directed by Ravikumar.

The teacher character named Inbaraj played by actor Vinod Sagar was revealed to be a paedophile who forces schoolgirls into sexual abuse in the film. Following the recent real life incidents that have come to light, director Ravikumar has revealed that the character in the film was not self created but was based on many true incidents.Taking to his social networking page, director Ramkumar posted, "The character of Ratchasan Inbaraj is not self-created. It was created based on many true incidents. The culprits of those incidents were worse than Inbaraj!"

'Ratsasan' is one of the best thrillers made in Kollywood. The film received appreciation from critics when it was released. The film had Vishnu Vishal, Amala Paul, Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat playing important roles.
