DRDO successfully tests Hypersonic Technology Demontrator Vehicle, Defense Minister congratulates

New Delhi: The Defense Research and Development Organization has used an indigenously developed Scramjet Propulsion System today i.e. Monday. At the same time, the hypersonic technology Demonstrator vehicle has also been successfully launched using it. Indeed, after this successful launching, it is now set up for the next phase of the process. Let us tell you that it is going to be used as a vehicle in the launch of long-range cruise missiles and rockets at very high speed.

Indeed, this launch was done from the integrated test range of Dr. Abdul Kalam Island in Balasore, Odisha. It is said to be an unmanned scramjet system flying at hypersonic speed. At the same time, if we talk about the speed of sound, it is 6 times more. With this, it will reach a height of about 32.5 km in 20 seconds in the sky. You would know that the Hypersonic Technology Demonstrator Vehicle ie HTDV project is an ambitious project of DRDO. Indeed, its purpose is to provide services to many military and civilian targets. On this occasion, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the DRDO and its scientists.

He said, 'The institute is engaged in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of a self-reliant India.' In fact, the Defense Minister tweeted in which he wrote, 'DRDO has successfully tested the Hypersonic Technology Demonstrator Vehicle today using an indigenously developed Scramjet Propulsion System.' Apart from this, he said, 'I congratulate DRDO for this great achievement which is in the direction of realizing PM Modi's dream of self-reliant India. I spoke to the scientists associated with the project and congratulated them on this great achievement. India is proud of them.'
