The actor is all set to mark his Bollywood Debut with Sunny Deol’s film, Chup: the revenge of the artist. The movie is based on serial killer who kills film critics for their Harsh Review. Dulquer Salmaan is the son of South Star Mammootty. Dulquer in his recent interview opens up on criticism his father got as he said, “I’ve heard stories of him being written off. So he tells me that - like if I read something hurtful and I’m upset – and he’s like, you know in the 80s there were people try to write me off, think he’s finished, and what not. I don’t know where those people are now.’ Like, critics also keep changing.” He further said, “I don’t think the people affect us today. I don’t think the people who affected me in 2012 or 2013 are the same ones affecting me now. Because we only keep reading the negative things. But we are not really tracking who these people are.” Earlier also Dulquer opens up on harsh reviews on him. He said, “I have often read a lot of nasty things about myself in reviews. People have even written that I should quit movies and I am not made for it. It's usually the same thing that I shouldn't be here. This is not my calling. It's really harsh." The movie stars Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Pooja Bhat are leading this film, whose original story has been penned by R Balki.
