Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has dealt a blow to the Uddhav Thackeray faction and the Eknath Shinde faction over the Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park ground in the country's financial capital Mumbai. The BMC has denied permission to Uddhav and Shinde factions for the Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park ground. The BMC has informed Sada Sarvankar, MLA of the Eknath Shinde faction, that his application for the Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park ground has been rejected keeping in mind the law and order situation. This also means that the Uddhav Thackeray faction of the Shiv Sena is also not getting permission for Shivaji Park. Both Shinde and Uddhav had applied for a Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park ground. If one of the parties was allowed, there could have been serious law and order problems in the sensitive area here, so the BMC rejected the application of both groups and denied permission. The Eknath Shinde faction has already booked the MMRDA ground as part of its backup plan. At the same time, the Uddhav Thackeray faction has already moved to the Bombay High Court, which is likely to be heard today (September 22). Earlier, the Uddhav Thackeray faction had released a poster asking Shiv Sainiks to reach Shivaji Park for the Dussehra rally. The Uddhav faction had taken a very aggressive stand and released a poster and said Hindutva will now be the willpower and strength of the party. Along with this, the Uddhav faction had said from the poster that now no apology will be given to the fraudsters.
