New Delhi: Indian female athlete Dutee Chand has finally got a Visa to Europe. Duterte wanted to participate in some tournaments in Europe to qualify for the World Athletics Championships but was not getting a visa. India's fastest female athlete, Dutee Chand, on Thursday urged Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to help him get a visa so that she can participate in some competitions in Europe as part of his campaign to qualify for the World Athletics Championships. The 23-year-old athlete tweeted, "I want to participate in the IAAF tournaments to be held on 13th and 19th August respectively in Ireland and Germany. Due to some reasons, my visa formalities could not be completed. Dr. S. Jaishankar and the Ministry of External Affairs urge them to intervene as quickly as possible and help me participate in the competition. Dutee thanked the Sports Ministry and the Ministry of External Affairs for the same after getting the visa. "I am proudly standing with all those who were with me when needed," she wrote on Twitter. I want to thank everyone who helped me get a visa. Dutee Chand recently became the first female athlete to win gold at the World University Games. She will now go to Europe to participate in the tournament approved by the IAAF. Their first tournament is in Ireland on 13th August while the second tournament is in Germany on 19th August. Dutee Chand is currently practicing at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Bhubaneswar.
