ED raids CM Ashok Gehlot's brother's house

Constant raids are being carried out at the bases of Naj Dikis of Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. In the Fertilizer Scam, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) took action to raid several places today. In which the ED has also taken this action over CM Gehlot's brother Agrasen Gehlot's house.

The ED has raided six places of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, 2 places in West Bengal, 4 places in Gujarat, 1 place in Delhi. There have been many allegations against Agrasen Gehlot's company Anupam Agri. Of which, there is a charge of selling fertilizers purchased at higher rates at concessional rates for farmers. They have sold this fertilizer in Malaysia and Vietnam, it is alleged.

According to the ED, this scam is worth 150 crores. CM Ashok Gehlot's brother Agrasen Gehlot's name has surfaced in the fertilizer scam. In which it is alleged that between 2007 and 2009, Agrasen Gehlot gave fertilizer taken for farmers to private companies. He was the Manmohan Singh government at the center, and Ashok Gehlot was the CM in the state. The Muriate of Potash (MOP) has banned exports. The MOP is imported by the Indian Potash Limited (IPL), and distributed to farmers at low prices. It is alleged that between 2007-2009, Agrasen Gehlot, (who was an authorized dealer for the IPL) bought MoP at a discounted rate, and instead of distributing it to farmers, he sold it to some companies.
