After Pakistan, food crisis is now looming over this Islamic country

Cairo: After Pakistan, the economic condition of another Islamic country, Egypt, is continuously deteriorating. Food items have become so expensive in Egypt that the poor found it difficult to have a one-time meal. The surprising thing is that when people are not able to fill their stomachs, in such a situation, a government agency has asked people to eat chicken paws to meet the requirement of protein in the era of inflation. Which will be cheaper for them as compared to other things and will also fulfill the requirement of the body.

However, people were incensed by this advice from the government agency. A large number of people expressed their anger on social media. Karim El-Sadat, an Egyptian parliamentarian, also reacted sharply to this. Karim al-Sadat called the agency's advice completely out of glimmer with the reality of the current crisis. In Egypt, which is mostly dependent on food imports, food inflation has pushed about 100 million people into an economic crisis. The situation has become such that in big supermarkets, customers are being allowed to buy only 3 bags of rice, 2 bottles of milk, and one bottle of oil.

Rehab, a 34-year-old woman who arrived to buy goods at a bakery in the Egyptian capital Cairo, has said that the bread she used to buy for one Egyptian pound is now available for 3 pounds (Egyptian). Rehab told that her husband earns 6 thousand pounds (Egypt) in a month. As there is inflation now, the same salary which used to run for the whole month now ends in 10 days only. 55-year-old Reda, who supports a family of 13, said that the meat that was once available for cooking has become so expensive that it has become difficult to buy it. According to Reda, the price of meat has doubled in the last few days. Reda told that she is earning money by doing two jobs, but even after that many common things are still out of her reach.
