Here's Why Elon Musks Platform Severs Ties with ExCNN Anchor Don Lemon

In a recent turn of events, the social media platform owned by Elon Musk, known as X, has decided to terminate its partnership with Don Lemon, the former CNN anchor. This decision was announced on Wednesday, just hours after Lemon had revealed that Musk would be the first guest on his upcoming interview show, scheduled to air on Monday.

Back in January, X had made headlines by announcing Lemon as the host of a new exclusive show on their platform, covering a wide range of topics including politics, culture, sports, and entertainment. Named "The Don Lemon Show," the program was planned to release three 30-minute episodes every week.

However, Musk took to X to express his perspective on the matter, stating that Lemon's approach seemed too similar to traditional CNN content, which he believed wouldn't resonate well on a social media platform. Despite this, Musk extended an invitation for Lemon to continue building his audience on X.

Although X affirmed that Lemon's show could still share content on the platform without facing censorship, the company declared its decision to refrain from engaging in any commercial partnership with the show.

Lemon disclosed on X that Musk had opted to cancel the partnership shortly after their interview on Friday. During the interview, various topics were discussed, ranging from Musk's space exploration company SpaceX to the recent presidential election.
