Pune: The Director of Pimpri Chinchwad College of engineering, allegedly died by suicide in Aundh at his residence on Monday. The reason behind this is not confirmed yet. The deceased has been identified as Dr Gajanan Vaijnath Paristhwad (60), who resided in Harsh paradise society in Aundh. He allegedly jumped from the 3rd floor of the building. The incident took place on Monday (28 December) at 10 pm. A security guard saw him and informed about it to other society residents. A doctor from the society did check-up of Parishwad, but due to severe injury, he was unconscious. They decided to shift him to the nearest hospital but he died before the treatment.
