T-20 series: England beat South Africa by 6 wickets, lead 1-0 in the series

Cape Town: England beat South Africa by 6 wickets in the first T20 match to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The hero of this victory of England was Johnny Bairstow, who played a brilliant inning of 86 not out from 48 balls. In this match, South Africa batting first scored 179 runs for six wickets in 20 overs.

Chasing this target, England beat South Africa by 6 wickets with four balls to spare thanks to Bairstow's best blazing innings. In this match, South Africa dominated the match at the start, but in the 17th over of Buran Hendrix, Bairstow and captain Eoin Morgan scored 28 runs. The match's stance changed with this over. England needed 51 runs from 24 balls before this over, but after this, 23 runs were needed from 18 balls. Morgan was caught at midwicket off Lungi Angidi in the next over.
