Rakesh Tikait claims: 'Food is being made in the BJP office ...'

New Delhi: There has been a conflict between farmers and the government over the past several days on the issue of agricultural law. If the farmers have announced to intensify their movement, then on Monday, Rakesh Tikait of the Bharatiya Kisan Union made a big charge again. Rakesh Tikait said that the food of those farmers who are supporting the agricultural law is being prepared in the BJP office.

While talking to a private news channel, Rakesh Tikait said that the tractors coming from Meerut-Ghaziabad in our support are being stopped. But other tractors are being allowed to come. The farmers, who are talking about the movement in support of the law, are being given money and their food is being prepared in the BJP office of Ghaziabad. Rakesh Tikait further said that since a month we want the government to talk to us. Farmers are also ready to meet in FICCI auditorium, Agriculture Minister should come and discuss.

Rakesh Tikait said that if we get the letter from the government, we will answer. We are ready to discuss with the government, but the government is already saying that the laws will not be returned. If the government is adamant on its insistence, then we are also saying that we should return the law. There is another hope of dialogue between the farmers and the government. The government has sent a proposal to the farmers for talks, although when this discussion will take place it is not decided yet.
