New Delhi: Farmers agitating for withdrawal of new agriculture law and demand for guaranteeing minimum support price for their crops have rejected Union Home Minister Amit Shah's proposal. Farmer leaders will present their side by holding a press conference on the Indus border at 4 pm today. Swaraj Party leader Yogendra Yadav, who attended the meeting of farmer leaders, said, 'Today 30 farmers' organizations of Punjab met in the morning.' After Amit Shah's statement last night, in the letter sent by the Home Secretary last night, the condition of the farmers to vacate the road to Burari to discuss agriculture law was not accepted. He said that our intention is not to disturb people by blocking the route. Farmers have been running this movement for two months. How will we go if the government sends it under such condition? Yadav said that on the same issue, there is a press conference of representatives of farmer associations in Burari at 4 pm today. He told, 'The call of 'Delhi Chalo' on 26th was from United Kisan Morcha. The United Kisan Morcha comprises 450 farmers organizations in India, they all formed a committee of 7 members, I am one of those 7 members'. These farmers are currently standing on the border connecting Delhi with other states. While farmers from Punjab are camping on the Indus and Tikri borders of Delhi, on the border of UP, farmers in the figure of thousands led by Indian farmers union leader Rakesh Tikait.
