Ranchi: In a tragic incident coming to light from Jharkhand, angry with the son being sent out to earn, the father-in-law attacked the daughter-in-law's neck with a sharp weapon with the intention of murder and seriously injured herself and reached the police station and handed himself over to the police. The incident took place around 7 pm on Thursday evening in Narangasai village under the Sonuwa police station area. The police took the criminal father-in-law into custody. At the same time, a sharp weapon has also been recovered.
After receiving the news, Sonuwa police reached Narangasai village and admitted the seriously injured daughter-in-law Sarita Boypai (26 years) to Sonuwa CHC. Sarita Boypai suffered serious injuries on her face and neck in the attack by her father-in-law Jaipal Boypai (55).
Jaipal Boypai, the father-in-law of the same criminal, said that daughter-in-law Sarita has sent her son out to work, due to which she got angry and attacked her with a sharp weapon on Thursday evening to sacrifice the daughter-in-law. Police have arrested the attacker, Jaipal Boypai. Sonuwa police station in-charge Sohan Lal said there was no case of sacrifice. Jaipal has attacked the daughter-in-law in anger. The matter is being investigated. The veracity of the case will be known only after investigation.
