Fifa World Cup: Indian football team will play all three matches in Qatar

The remaining 3 matches of the India FIFA World Cup qualifiers are to be played in Qatar. The Confederation of Asian Football (AFC) has decided to organize matches at centralized centers due to travel and segregation rules associated with covid-19.

According to the original schedule, the Indian team had to play matches against Qatar and Afghanistan in their home country against Bangladesh but was forced to change the schedule due to the global epidemic. "The FIFA World Cup 2022 hosts Qatar Group E teams Oman, Afghanistan, India, and Bangladesh, while Japan will host Group F teams Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Myanmar, and Mongolia," AFC said in a release issued on Friday.

India is currently fourth in Group E. He has 3 points from five matches. Qatar is on top with 13 points while Oman is second behind them by one point. Second-round qualification matches have not been held since November 2019 due to the epidemic.
