A Film and Television Institute (FTII) has been approved for Arunachal Pradesh. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh now discussed the proposal of film City in Sikkim last Wednesday. In fact, Jitendra Singh has made a tweet and by making this tweet, he has said, "The proposal of a film city for Sikkim was discussed." There are many picturesque places in the northeast, which are not in use due to lack of infrastructure. Not only that, Jitendra Singh has made another tweet stating, "The Narendra Modi government has already approved a film and television institute for Arunachal Pradesh. Further, Jitendra Singh, referring to the Ftii campus of Arunachal Film and Television Institute, has also said, "It will boost the employment potential of the youth of the north-east and open up exciting career options in various areas of media and filmmaking.'' The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) campus in Arunachal Pradesh was established in 2018, which is the second institution after Pune in the country.
