New Delhi: Two months are left for the presentation of the general budget. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that in this era of corona epidemic, the budget of FY 2021-22 will be the highest in the budget so far. Healthcare, livelihood, employment and education will be given the highest priority in this budget. The Finance Minister said that in this budget, priority will be given to those sectors in which corona has caused the most turmoil. Which can become sector growth engines. They can be given more facilities in the budget. In a CII program, Nirmala Sitharaman has requested industry representatives to send their suggestions through video conferencing. He said that he should send his suggestions so that this budget proves unprecedented. He said that India would not have seen such a budget in the last 100 years. Sitharaman said that the health and infrastructure sector will get a lot of amenities in this budget. Excellent provision will be made in hospitals, capacity building in the healthcare sector, skill development in the telemedicine sector and health infrastructure. Sitharaman said that the government can make provisions to increase the share of women in the workforce. He said that about 60 per cent of India's population is under 30 years of age. In this case, provisions can be made to increase their employment prospects. He said that under Medical-R&D, Biotechnology R&D and Pharma-R&D Private-Public Partnership, more capital investment would be required to provide cheaper treatment facilities like corona infection.
