Delhi Police register FIR against 4 Aam Aadmi Party MLAs

New Delhi: A case has been registered against 4 MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of CM Arvind Kejriwal in the country's capital Delhi. Delhi Police has registered an FIR against four Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs and others for organizing a protest against the plan for privatization of sanitation work.

According to the report of the news agency ANI, the names of the MLAs against whom the Delhi Police has filed an FIR are Kuldeep Kumar Monu (Kondali), Vandana Kumar (Shalimar Bagh), Akhilesh Tripathi (Model Town) and Rohit Mehrolia (Trilok Puri). Around 1,000-1,500 people gathered outside the Civic Center along with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Durgesh Pathak, who demonstrated against the privatization plan for sanitation work. It is alleged that a large number of scavengers gathered and demonstrated without the permission of the police.

According to the report of the news agency ANI, these people performed without the permission of the police. Delhi Police said that neither social distancing was observed nor people were seen wearing masks during the protest. The uproar had increased so much that some policemen were also injured in it.
