Abu Dhabi: Saudi Arabia has removed Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Gilgit-Baltistan from the new map of Pakistan. PoK activist Amjad Ayub Mirza has claimed this by tweeting on Wednesday. He also shared a picture on Twitter, with the caption, "Saudi Arabia's Diwali gift for India - Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir removed from Pakistan's map".

According to media reports, the news agency ANI has reported that Saudi Arabia issued a 20 riyal (Saudi currency) banknote for its chairmanship of organizing the G20 summit on 21-22 November. It was reported that the world map printed on the banknote does not show Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir as parts of Pakistan.

Media reports state that Saudi Arabia's move is nothing short of an attempt to humiliate Pakistan. India objected to the elections in Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan has often tried to raise the Kashmir issue on every platform and this step of Saudi is no less than a big shock for him. However, there is no statement from Pakistan on this yet.
