Games will soon be dope free, first mobile app launched

In an effort to make the games dope-free, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju launched the first mobile app of the National Anti-Doping Agency which will inform players about banned drugs and their use. This app will act as a bridge between Nada and the players. This will give them detailed information about various aspects of sports, especially banned drugs.

Kiren Rijiju said on the occasion of the online launch of the app, "This is an important step towards Indian sports. We are trying to make the games clean and the first step is to create awareness. It is important to give relevant and important information to the players so that they avoid using these drugs. From this app, players will be able to see the list of banned substances and they will not have to depend on anyone for help." The app will also have information that there is no substance included in the banned list of NADA in a commonly used drug.

According to a Sports Ministry release, the app also allows the doping control officer to record their availability to make the dope test of players quickly and easily. This app is available on Google Store. Sports Secretary Ravi Mittal and NDA Director General Naveen Aggarwal were also present at the launch.
