Another cases of fake selling reported from Warangal. Here the Task Force police led by Inspector Ch Srinivas apprehended five persons for selling low quality or spurious sanitiser and seized sanitiser worth Rs 1 lakh here on Friday. In media interaction Inspector Srinivas said, “On credible information about sale of spurious sanitisers at Mattewada and J P N Road area, which comes under the limits of Mattewada police station, we carried out raids and apprehended five persons while selling spurious sanitisers to the gullible persons at higher prices in their shops. The sanitiser was made without following the guidelines of WHO and they cannot kill germs or viruses effectively.” Ch Srinivas further added that “After completion of the raids, the seized property and accused persons have been handed over to Matwada police for further action” . To be noted that the police seized 72 five-liters cans, and 305 bottles (500 ml, 250 ml, 100 ml and 50 ml bottles) from their shops.
