AirAsia opens flight booking from April 15

Amid the outbreak of Coronavirus on Saturday, economical airline company AirAsia India said that bookings for its flights after April 15 are on. However, the company is ready to make any changes on this issue as per the guidelines of aviation regulator DGCA. All domestic and international commercial flights are suspended until April 14 due to the lockdown implemented to prevent coronavirus infection. Along with this, airline companies like IndiGo, GoAir, SpiceJet and Vistara have also started booking flight tickets from April 15.

For your information, let us tell you that most of the aviation companies have started booking flights for the date after 15 April. However, the state airline Air India has decided not to book the date till April 30. The company has decided to wait for the decision regarding the nationwide lockdown. The deadline for the end of the lockdown is 14 April.

In response to a media query, Air Asia said, "Passengers can continue booking for the date after April 15". Will follow and inform its customers in this regard. It is noteworthy that Civil Aviation Secretary Pradeep Singh Kharola said on Thursday that airline companies are free to book any date after April 14.
