Aditya Birla Group came forward in battle with Corona, donates large amount

New Delhi: Another large group name has been added to the list of people who donated to battle the Coronavirus epidemic. The Aditya Birla Group on Friday announced that it has donated Rs 500 crore to the PM-CARES fund to help fight against the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus in India.

This has been reported through the company's official Twitter handle, stating that the Aditya Birla Group contributed Rs 500 crore towards Coronavirus relief measures. The company has also said in a release that the company has approved a grant of Rs 50 crore to the FICCI-Aditya Birla CSR Center for Excellence for Covid relief measures. The company said that it is working with governments to establish hospital beds in various cities for patients with coronavirus.

The release said that the company has production of 1 million triple-layer surgical masks and 1 lakh coverol clothing in collaboration with the Ministry of Textiles. The country's famous industrialist Ratan Tata has donated 1500 crore rupees to the government to fight the coronavirus.
