Food combinations you need to avoid for better health!

Food Combinations To Avoid Starches with Proteins

A big NO! Proteins and starches should never be combined together as they tend to neutralize each other and this leads to improper digestion of either food.

Proteins with Acidic or Sour Foods

Fruit acids tend to interfere in the gastric digestion of proteins either by destroying pepsin or by inhibiting hydrochloric acid secretion.

Milk with any other Food

Tea, Coffee and Alcohol with Solid Foods

Having these with solid food can severely restrict gastric secretions and hinder normal digestion. Any liquid in your stomach dilutes the enzymes your body needs to digest proteins, carbohydrates and fats.

Fruits with any other Food

Fruits if mixed with other food can create a sour wine in the stomach and this leads to improper digestion.
