Former Congress MLA Faleiro met Mamata will join TMC along with 10 leaders

Panaji: Former Goa Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader Luizinho-Faleiro today reached the State Secretariat, Nabanna and met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. National General Secretary of TMC Abhishek Banerjee was also present. Luzinho Falerio will hold the TMC at a function organized at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra in Kolkata this evening.

Luijinho Faleirio will be accompanied by a total of 10 TMC leaders including former MLA and leave IPS officer Lavu Mamledar, Sahitya Akademi award winner N Shivdas and environmentalist Rajendra Shivaji Kakodkar. Former Congress MLA leader Luisinho Falario arrived in Kolkata on Tuesday evening after resigning as primary membership of the Congress and MLA on Monday. With his resignation, speculations of him joining the TMC had begun.

Congress had won 18 seats in the last Assembly elections in Goa. While the BJP got 14 seats. Now TMC plans to set foot in Goa with the help of Luizinho-Faleiro. He had praised Mamata Banerjee a lot at a press conference in Goa. He had said that only Mamata Banerjee can challenge Narendra Modi. Our enemy is the BJP and we have to fight unitedly.
