New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is in a critical condition. According to sources, Arun Jaitley, who was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi from August 9, has been placed on The ExtraCaraporeal Brain Oxygenation (ECMO) and Intra-Arotic Balloon (IABP) support. Sources have also pointed out that Jaitley's heart and lungs are not working properly. All the top leaders are reaching AIIMS hospital to know Jaitley's condition. Several BJP leaders rushed to AIIMS to find out about his condition. Those who reached AIIMS include Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, Himachal Pradesh Governor Kalraj Mishra, RSS Joint Secretary Krishna Gopal, former socialist leader Amar Singh. President Ram Nath Kovind, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, UP CM Yogi Adityanath arrived at AIIMS on Friday to visit him. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar arrived in Delhi on Saturday and rushed directly to the hospital from the airport. Among other leaders were Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Jyotiraditya Scindia who visited AIIMS to visit Arun Jaitley. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and other prominent BJP leaders have already visited AIIMS to find out his condition.
