Mumbai: Former Indian captain Saurabh Ganguly's name is leading in the race of the new chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He can be appointed as the new chairman of BCCI. Brijesh Patel's name is also coming in the race for the post of President. Jai Shah, son of BJP national president Amit Shah, can be made the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. According to sources, a consensus has been reached to appoint Jai Shah as secretary in an informal meeting of state units of the BCCI. Apart from this, the appointment of Arun Dhumal, younger brother of Union State Finance Minister Anurag Thakur, as treasurer is also being decided. However, the opinion on the appointment of the new chairman of BCCI has not been clarified. It is being told that Sourav Ganguly and Brijesh Patel are at the forefront of the race for the post of BCCI President. Today is the last day for filing nominations. However, it is believed that all the candidates will be elected unopposed. Ganguly and Brijesh are believed to be a close fight.
