Former South African cricket team manager Ghulam Raja passes away, sorrow in cricket world

Cape Town: Ghulam Raja, former manager of The South Africa cricket team, passed away on Tuesday. He was 74 years old. He had been ill for a long time and also had a corona infection. Ghulam Raja was the longest-serving manager of the South Africa cricket team. He worked in this post of team for 20 years. After the his death, there is a wave of grief in the cricket world. He has been remembered by many people related to cricket.

Let us tell you that Ghulam became the manager of the South African cricket team in 1992. This was the year when the African team returned to international cricket. The same year, South Africa toured India. This was followed by the end of Ghulam Raja's tenure after his visit to Australia in 2011. He had shared the dressing room with a total of 107 South African players in 179 Tests, 444 ODIs and 40 T20 Internationals.
