New Delhi: AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal extended wishes to party workers on the foundation day, recalling leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh facing imprisonment in what he termed as "false cases." In a virtual press conference, Kejriwal emphasized the AAP's remarkable growth and the intense scrutiny it has faced in the past 11 years. Despite over 250 cases filed against the party, including investigations by agencies like ED, CBI, and Delhi Police, Kejriwal asserted that no illicit wealth has been discovered. He expressed a touch of sadness on this celebratory day due to the absence of Sisodia, Singh, and Satyendar Jain, emphasizing their resilience against alleged false charges. Kejriwal acknowledged the challenges faced by the party and its leaders, noting the attempts by the BJP to weaken opposition figures through legal actions. However, he expressed pride in the steadfastness of AAP leaders who have not yielded under pressure. Earlier on X, Kejriwal reflected on the party's 11-year journey, highlighting the transformative path from a small party to a national force. The Delhi Chief Minister conveyed gratitude for the public's support, emphasizing the party's commitment to working for the people.
