Delivery of Rafale jets will not be delay due to corona: France

Paris: Due to Coronavirus crisis in the whole world, the functioning has come to a complete halt. Now, when the situation seems to be coming under control in some countries, everything is returning on track. In the meantime, when there is a conflict with China on India's border, then big news has come out from the point of view of security. There will be no delay in delivery of Rafale fighter jet from France in July.

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to French Defense Minister Florence Parle on Tuesday. During this time, it has been assured from France that the delivery of Rafael fighter jet to India will be on time, Corona catastrophe will not affect it. Defense ministers of the two countries discussed bilateral relations, regional security in the talks, as well as the crisis of Corona. It is noteworthy that France has been included in those countries of Europe, where Corona has caused its most havoc.

Let us tell you that India has signed a deal to buy Rafale fighter jet from France, in the first batch of which a total of four Rafale aircraft can arrive in India this July. These jets can be deployed at Ambala's Airforce station. Let us tell you that in 2016, on the initiative of PM Narendra Modi, India signed the agreement for 36 Rafale aircraft. Last year, some Air Force officers also went to France from India, then their flying training was started there. Significantly, in October last year, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh went to France, where he received the Rafale aircraft. Rajnath Singh himself flew in the Rafael fighter jet.
