Magistrate Bibhash Chandra Modi has made the news of the lockdown in the Golaghat Nagar Mandal area will be stopped from 7 pm. He told that a complete lockdown will be imposed in this area from 7 pm to 17 July. He also informed that the number of positive patients of the epidemic corona has been recorded in recent times. After this, the risk of infection has increased more. Keeping this in mind, this decision has been taken. He said that according to this instruction, no vehicles will be able to travel. Private work, market, shopping complex, and shop will not be allowed along with non-essential activities while working. So far, 617 people have been died by the Coronavirus in Golaghat. The neighboring Jorhat city administration has also decided to lockdown. Due to the increase in an infection on Wednesday, it has been decided to implement a one-week lockdown. The lockdown continues since June 28 to control the corona cases that grow every day. The infection of corona has increased more than ever in the whole of Assam. The government has taken appropriate steps to curb it.
