Kolkata: Trinamool Congress president Anubrata Mondal will be produced before a court here on Saturday. Anubrata Mondal was first taken to command hospital from CBI's Nizam Palace headquarters on Saturday. He will be produced before a special CBI court in Asansol after a health check-up. Mandal's 10-day CBI custody ends on Saturday. Mandal, a close aide of Mamata Banerjee, was arrested in a cow smuggling case. While being taken to the command hospital from Nizam Palace, Mandal said, "I am cooperating in the investigation. I don't own any unnamed property.'' On Saturday morning, Birbhum district TMC president Anubrata Mondal was escorted from Nizam Palace (the CBI office in Kolkata, where Anubrata has been lodged since his arrest). Actually, the CBI team had claimed that Rs 16.97 crore was found in the bank account of Anubrata and his relatives in the cow smuggling case. According to CBI sources, the huge amount found is mainly in the form of fixed deposits in several banks in different districts. Along with this, the CBI had also raided the rice mills of Anubrata Mandal. Attractive expensive cars have also been recovered at Bhole Byom Rice Mill in Bolpur. According to sources, this rice mill is registered in the name of Anubrata's wife and daughter.
