Corona havoc: Goa govt bans shooting of films and TV serials

The second wave of Covid-19 has created havoc across the country. This dangerous virus is rapidly engulfing and eliminating people. So far, many people have lost their lives. At the same time, there is a complete lockdown in many States. There are many places where there are fewer restrictions. You must be aware that there has been a lockdown in Mumbai which has shocked the film and TV industry here.

The shooting of all the shows and movies came to a complete halt. In view of this, the makers and producers had decided to go to another state or city to shoot. The stars had gone to Goa to shoot several shows. But now amidst all this, the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) has banned the shooting of film and TV serials. In fact, they said that the cases of Covid-19 are continuously increasing in the State. ESG is the nodal agency of the Government of Goa that allows commercial shooting in the State.

So far the makers of many films and TVs had decided to shoot in Goa from Mumbai and Chennai and all had shifted. But suddenly the state saw an increase in cases infected with coronavirus, after which the shooting has been announced to be canceled. Now, unless the cases are controlled in the State, no one will be allowed to shoot.
