New Delhi: In the middle of the wedding season, the bullion market of the country is slowly being unlocked. Today, on Thursday, June 4, the bullion market has recorded a sharp fall in the price of gold and silver. Gold has become cheaper from 22 carats to 24 carats. The price of silver has also fallen by Rs 655 per kg. The website of the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (ibjarates.com) updates the average price of metals. This morning the price of 24-carat gold is seen to fall by Rs 404 per 10 grams. With this, the price of gold has reached Rs 46441 per 10 grams. On the other hand, after the fall of Rs 655 per kg in silver, it has now reached Rs 47640 per kg. The weakness of Rs 402 is being seen in 23-carat gold i.e. gold 995. With this, the price of 23-carat gold has come down to Rs 46255, while the price of 22-carat gold has come down by Rs 370 to Rs 42540 per 10 grams. It does not have GST. According to Rajesh Khosla, media in-charge of India Bullion and Jewelers Association Delhi, shows its average price by taking a gold-silver current rate from 14 centres across the country. Khosla says that the current rate of gold-silver or, say, the spot price may vary in different places, but their prices vary slightly.
