'Golden Temple' of South India is made of 1500 kg of pure gold

There are many such amazing temples in India, which are recognized for some reason or the other. One such temple is at Thirumalai Kodi, seven kilometers from Vellore in Tamil Nadu, which is known as Sri Lakshmi Narayani Temple. Today we are going to tell you the interesting facts about this temple. You will be surprised to know that this temple is made of 1500 kg pure gold. For this reason, it is called the 'Golden Temple' or 'Golden Temple' of South India. Just as the Golden Temple of Amritsar is world famous as well as the whole of India, so is this temple.

Let us tell you that this temple is built on about 100 acres of land, which has taken almost seven years to be built. Its construction cost about 300 crores rupees. It is said that no gold has been used in the construction of this temple. By the way, this temple shines a lot in the sunlight even during the day, but especially when the light is done in the temple at night, the glow of gold in it is made soon. On 24 August 2007, for the first time this temple was opened for darshan.

At the same time, there is also a Deepmala about 27 feet high in the temple premises, which on burning, this temple made of gold rises very bright. Due to the gold spent in the construction of the temple, 24-hour police personnel and guards are deployed for its protection. This Golden Temple has been built by Vellore-based charitable trust Sri Narayani Peedam, whose prominent spiritual leader Sri Sakthi Amma is also known as 'Narayani Amma'. There is also Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Center near this temple, which is run by the 'Sri Narayani Peedam' Charitable Trust itself.
