The company will encourage merchants to adopt digital channels through this campaign. Apart from this, many special features will be added to Google search and Google map, so that consumers can easily find small businesses. The company will add many special features to Google Search and Google Map under the 'Make Small Strong' campaign, which will enable consumers to easily search for small businesses. The special thing is that consumers will be able to give ratings to small traders for their services. This will greatly benefit the traders. According to a Google-Kantar report, today 5 out of 10 merchants are using digital channels. Earlier in April, 4 out of 10 traders were connected to digital channels. The report further states that 92 percent of the traders are facing problems related to lack of customers. Therefore it is very important for traders to adopt digital channels and this will greatly benefit the business in COVID-19 crisis. Also, Google has partnered with Zoho, Instamojo, Dunzo and Swiggy as part of the 'Make Small Strong' campaign.
