New Delhi: In the wake of the Taliban's re-dominance in Afghanistan, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said the Union government will do its best to bring back Indian nationals from Afghanistan like the 'Vande Bharat Mission.' Scindia said the central government had started evacuating its citizens from Afghanistan last Friday. The evacuation process continued for three days. But on Monday morning, when a flight from India was about to leave for Kabul, a notice was received from Notem (Notice to Airmen, through which the entire airspace over Kabul was closed) after firing at the airport. So the evacuation process was hampered on Monday. He said the government has been trying since late Monday night and later an Indian Air Force aircraft went to Kabul on Tuesday and brought back Indian nationals. "We will not be short of bringing back all our citizens from Afghanistan," Scindia added. We had done this in the Vande Bharat Mission earlier also. Scindia reached Shajapur late in the evening after starting his Jan Arshivad Yatra in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday morning. Through these visits, the newly appointed Ministers in the Central Government are reaching out to the people and telling the people about the Public Welfare Schemes of the Centre.
