Govt schools in Telangana equipped with 12 amenities from next academic year

Telangana's state government will build 12 basic facilities in selected government schools as part of its "Mana Basti / Uru, Mana Badi" program, which will begin in June.

The introduction of English as a medium of instruction in all government schools is the most important feature. This will encourage parents from the lower and middle classes to send their children to public schools. Parents who desire English-medium education for their children's future development are finding it difficult to enroll their children in private schools due to the hefty prices they charge.

Government schools will also have nice furniture, buildings, clean bathrooms, drinkable drinking water, digital classrooms, libraries, and high-quality mid-day meals. To put it another way, schools will be remodeled such that parents will happily enroll their children in government schools.

During the summer vacations, officials from the Adilabad district education department aim to provide training to selected teachers to impart English-medium education to students. In Nirmal district alone, the scheme will benefit 260 government schools.
