In fact, the Ministry of Railways has again announced to give blankets and beddings to people in long-distance trains. The Indian Railways had stopped issuing sheets, pillows and blankets to people from March 2020. Due to corona infection, people were not getting this facility. But now the railways have announced to implement this service with immediate effect. That means from today people will get blankets and blankets due to the journey.
For this, the Railway Board in an order issued to the General Managers of all railway zones informed that the supply of these items should be resumed with immediate effect. As soon as the same corona cases decreased, it was constantly being demanded by the passengers. Because right now people have to walk with them from home with blankets, which leads to extra luggage.
The AC coaches of all the trains are provided with blankets, pillows and sheets by the railways. This is an optional facility in trains like Garib Rath. Now, in view of the decrease in corona cases, the railways have announced to restore this facility. After the closure of this facility in March-2020, the railways were providing disposable bedroll kits to the people for a few days. For this, the passengers had to pay separately. But later it was also closed.
