Sadhvi Padmavati fasting for 65 days, admitted in ICU due to deteriorating health

Sadhvi Padmavati was admitted to Delhi AIIMS on Monday. Sadhvi Padmavati has been on an indefinite fast for 65 days demanding an act to protect the Ganges. Her health worsened this morning after which she was admitted to the ICU. The ambulance was taken to Delhi for the first time by constructing a green corridor. He was taken from an ambulance to AIIMS in New Delhi when his health deteriorated during the fast. The Meerut police became alert as soon as the message came from Lucknow.

In 45 minutes, the Green Corridor has been prepared on NH-58. The police were guarded on the highway from the Muzaffarnagar border to the Ghaziabad border. The ambulance carrying Sadhvi crossed the 54 km distance of the Meerut border in just 28 minutes. It took 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete the distance from Haridwar to Delhi AIIMS.

All the police stations have been put on highway alert regarding the Green Corridor. Information was given to Meerut from the control room from Lucknow at 4:30 pm. In Meerut, SP Traffic Sanjeev Bajpai was made the nodal officer. SP traffic said that around 5:15 am the ambulance entered the Meerut border and reached the Ghaziabad border at 5:43 pm. During this period all traffic on NH 58 was stopped. The driver of the ambulance did not have to apply brakes anywhere. Haridwar police were having an ambulance. Traffic was stopped about 20 minutes ago. The police ambulance was moving about one km ahead on the border of the respective districts. People were surprised to see the Green Corridor being implemented for the first time on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. Initially, people understood that VIPs would be coming, but this time the system was different. The ambulance came at a high speed and passed without any interruption.
