Gucci to get Felicitated for Gender Equality this Year

New Delhi:- Gucci is the first Italian luxury fashion house to be certified as gender equal in Italy, as outlined in the Italian Government's National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

This recognition recognizes the fashion house's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and is achieved through a voluntary evaluation process audited by Bureau Veritas, a global leader in inspection, compliance verification, and certification services. it was done.

As part of the external evaluation audit process, Gucci's progress was assessed in his six areas:

Culture and Strategy, Governance, HR Processes, Opportunities for Women's Advancement and Inclusion, Gender-Disaggregated Pay and Parental Protection, and Work-Life Balance received "positive ratings."

Bureau Veritas praised Gucci for establishing a Global Equity Board and Gender Equality Steering Committee, as well as the luxury brand's comprehensive parental leave policy, social services, and hybrid work model. In addition, efforts to address gender issues and unconscious bias while promoting professional progress were also commended.

Gucci President and CEO Marco Bizzari said in a statement:

“This achievement, a first in the Italian luxury sector, ahead of European trends, strongly reaffirms our commitment to a culture of justice, inclusiveness, and respect.”
