'Whosoever named 'Neeraj' gets Rs 501 petrol free,' in honour of gold medallist Neeraj Chopra

Ahmedabad: Neeraj Chopra, who made India proud by winning a gold medal in the 'Javelin Throw' in Tokyo Olympics, is making it ahead of the country. Now, a petrol pump of Indian Oil Corporation Limited in Gujarat has announced that anyone named Neeraj will be given petrol worth Rs 501 free of cost. The announcement was made by a petrol pump located at Netrang in the Bharuch district of south Gujarat. The offer has been written on a board and installed at a petrol pump.

The board was installed by petrol pump owner Ayub Pathan on Sunday. The offer is only for Monday today. From 9 am to 5 pm, whoever comes to fill his car with petrol will be given free petrol of Rs 501 in honor of gold medallist Neeraj Chopra in the Tokyo Olympics. For this, customers will have to show their ID cards.

India's shooter Abhinav Bindra won a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. This is the first time since then that the Olympic gold medal has come to India. Born in Khandra village of Panipat in Haryana, Neeraj Chopra has done this feat. He was then congratulated by the entire country including President Kovind and PM Modi.
