Ahmedabad: A case of burning copies of Kama Sutra texts has come to light in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. According to reports, Bajrang Dal workers forcibly entered the bookstore here and set the Kama Sutra book on fire. Not only that, but Bajrang dal people also threatened the store operator that if they were found selling Kamasutra in the future, they would burn the entire store. He burnt Krishna and Radha's love affair outside the shop in a book called Kama Sutra, calling the pictures of the love affair controversial. At the same time, he threatened the store operator in open terms that the next time he was caught selling the book, he would set the entire shop on fire. The store operator has also not complained to the police in the case. North Gujarat Bajrang Dal President Jwalit Mehta said, "We had received a complaint in this regard. On the basis of the complaint, when we went there with the workers, we saw that many controversial pictures and comments depicting Lord Krishna Krishna and Radha were printed in Utsav Bhattacharya's book Kama Sutra." Mehta described it as an insult to Hindu deities. Mehta threatened all bookstore operators in Ahmedabad saying that the consequences of possessing such material would not be good.
