Gujarat ATS arrests three Naxalites for provoking tribals

Ahmedabad: Gujarat ATS has arrested three alleged Naxalites for inciting people against the government. All three arrested are said to be residents of Jharkhand. The Gujarat ATS alleges that these three were tricking people against the government in tribal-dominated areas of Gujarat. ATS has imposed a section of treason and criminal conspiracy on them.

The arrested people have been identified as Samu Oria, Birsa Oria and Babita Kachhap. The ATS arrested Samu and Birsa from Vyara taluk of Adivasi Bahi Tapi district, while Babita was arrested from Santrampur taluk in Mahisagar district. Giving information about the case, the Gujarat Police has said that these three are wanted in different cases in Jharkhand. According to the Gujarat ATS, all three are associated with the Pathalgadi movement in Jharkhand.
