New Delhi: The bail of Asaram's son Narayan Sai, imprisoned in jail on charges of sexual exploitation, has been approved. The Gujarat High Court has ordered Narayan Sai to be released on bail for 10 days as his mother was not well. He was accused of sexual abuse on behalf of the sadhus living in Asaram's ashram. Earlier, the Jodhpur court accepted the hearing of the bail plea of Asaram Bapu. His petition will be heard in the third week of January. In the court, Asaram had pleaded for his age and appealed to the court to hear. A bench of Justices Sandeep Mehta and Rameshwarlal Vyas accepted the plea of Asaram. Asaram said that he is 80 years old and has been imprisoned since 2013. He told the court that his appeal should be heard soon. Asaram's petition was presented by senior advocates Jagmal Chaudhary and Pradeep Chaudhary In the year 2013, a minor girl accused Asaram of rape in the ashram near Jodhpur. Asaram was arrested from Indore in Madhya Pradesh on 31 August 2013. Asaram is booked under Posco, Juvenile Justice Act, rape, criminal conspiracy and many other cases.
